Men's Health Magazine

In 2018, I was brought on as a freelance designer for Men’s Health magazine across five issues from July to November. Delivering polished layouts in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment sharpened my craft and set the foundation for my design career.
Deadline-Driven Production

Five issues in five months meant tight turnarounds were the norm, not the exception. Every layout had to be right the first time, fast.

Print-Ready

Prepared layouts for print production, where there’s no room for a typo or a color swap once it’s on the press.

Editorial Design

Built layouts for international print issues, balancing strong typography and imagery with Men’s Health’s existing brand standards.

Front-of-Book Pages

My role focused on elevating these concise, often recurring articles by exploring bold concepts and pushing creative boundaries.

Each project deepened my expertise in layout, composition, branding, and typography, and I learned how crucial these pieces come together to create powerful, thoughtful designs.

Feature Spreads

While my core focus was crafting single‑page Front‑of‑Book articles, occasionally I was given the chance to concept and design full feature spreads. Here’s a few of my personal favorites.
